Philip Sharp serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Superior Whitetail Habitats. Based in Marion, KY, Philip transitioned into this leadership role following a distinguished career with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR).A native of Union County, Philip was raised on the Higginson-Henry Wildlife Management Area, establishing a lifelong commitment to hunting, fishing, and habitat conservation. His professional credentials and experience include:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from Murray State University.
- Accreditation: Certified Wildlife Biologist (The Wildlife Society, 2005) andProfessional Development Certification (2017).
- Technical Expertise: Kentucky Certified Prescribed Fire Burn Boss and former Private Lands Wildlife Biologist for the KDFWR.
Throughout his career, Philip has remained dedicated to preserving the hunting and fishing heritage while providing technical guidance to private landowners to help them achieve their habitat development goals. He resides in Marion with his wife of 27 years, Shawna, and their two sons, Tucker and Turner.
Austin Turley, 46, is a lifelong resident of Crittenden County. Raised on a farm, Austin developed a strong work ethic and hands-on experience from an early age. With more than 20 years of experience operating heavy equipment, he brings extensive knowledge, skill, and a deep connection to the local community.
Kevin Myatt is a lifelong resident of Crittenden County. After graduating, Kevin began working on and around farms and has remained in the agricultural industry throughout his career. With more than 20 years of experience operating heavy equipment, he brings a strong work ethic, practical knowledge, and years of hands-on experience to every job.
Jeremy Dempsey graduated from Union County High School in 1992 and has built a career around hard work, skilled trades, and heavy equipment. After spending 13 years with Eastern Alloys, where he worked his way up to Materials/Lab Manager, Jeremy transitioned to the coal mining industry. During his 12 years as an underground coal miner, he gained valuable experience in electrical work, welding, troubleshooting, and repairing mining equipment.In 2023, Jeremy joined Brandeis Equipment Company as a heavy equipment mechanic,working on Komatsu, Sennebogen, Takeuchi, and other equipment. His experience operating this machinery sparked an interest in becoming an equipment operator,leading him to join the Superior Whitetail team in July 2025. Jeremy is grateful to be part of the team and brings decades of hands-on experience, mechanical knowledge, and a strong work ethic to his role.
I’m Drew Curtis, and I have approximately 15 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation, excavation, oilfield work, transportation, and industrial operations.I currently work for Superior Whitetail Habitat, where I use my experience in excavation,land development, and heavy equipment operation. Throughout my career, I have gained experience operating a wide variety of equipment, including excavators,bulldozers, backhoes, trenchers, loaders, skid steers, tractors, dump trucks, and lowboys. I also hold a Class A CDL and have experience hauling hazardous materials while following DOT regulations and company safety standards. My previous work experience includes positions in the oil and gas industry as a heavy equipment operator, roustabout, and tank truck driver, along with experience in warehouse operations and hazardous-material transportation. I have also been responsible for coordinating employees and equipment to ensure projects are completed safely,efficiently, on time, and according to company standards. I attended Union County High School in Morganfield, Kentucky, and throughout my career I have continued my education through hands-on training, safety certifications, CDL training, and equipment-specific training. I take pride in being hardworking, dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done correctly.
Born and raised in western Kentucky, Brandon has been a FAA licensed Remote Pilot since 2019. He graduated from Murray State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, specializing in Agricultural Systems Technology. He was the first student to graduate from MSU with a certificate in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).Brandon’s in-field experience includes over 13,000 acres of agricultural drone spraying and spreading, along with 1,000+ flight hours across a range of drone platforms.Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time at home with his Wife, dog, and cat. In his spare time he can usually be found adventure motorcycling, camping, and advocating for parents experiencing infant loss in memory of his late daughter, Opal.
Jake Hamilton is a native of Vardaman, Mississippi, and has spent the last 14 years living and working in the Mississippi Delta. He is a proud graduate of Mississippi State University,where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture. He also holds an Associate of Science in Forestry. Prior to moving to Kentucky, Jake spent more than a decade in forest management and consulting in the public sector with the Mississippi Forestry Commission. He now brings that expertise to private lands, where he works directly with landowners to build tailored wildlife habitat management plans and help manage and maintain those habitats over time.In his free time, you'll still find him outdoors. Jake is a lifelong outdoorsman who loves hunting white-tailed deer and wild turkey, along with fishing, camping, and hiking. He shares his love of the outdoors with his wife and their cats and dogs.
