Job Description:
Superior Whitetail Habitats is hiring a Private Lands & Habitat Management Specialist to assist with wildlife habitat improvement, food plots, agricultural operations, and land management projects across the region.
This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, operate equipment, improve properties for wildlife and conservation, and be part of a fast-growing company passionate about land stewardship and habitat improvement.
We are seeking candidates with agricultural or wildlife management backgrounds who are hardworking, self-motivated, and capable of operating farm equipment and managing field responsibilities efficiently.

Required Qualifications:
- College degree required

Bonus Qualifications:
- CDL License
- FAA Drone License/Certification
- Precision Ag Technology Experience
- Drone Mapping or Application Experience
Compensation:
$50,000–$65,000 annually based on experience and qualifications

Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description:
Superior Whitetail Habitats is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This position focuses on wildlife habitat improvement projects, land clearing, excavation, water management projects, food plot development, and conservation-related construction work throughout the region.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and is willing to “take the bull by the horns” to help get projects completed efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate must have strong finish work skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Skid steers
- Perform grading and finish work with precision
- Assist with land clearing, drainage, water control structures, habitat projects, and
excavation work - Load/unload and transport equipment when necessary
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work alongside management and crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Assist with problem-solving and project execution in the field
Qualifications:
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience required
- Strong experience with excavators, dozers, and skid steers required
- Finish grading and finish work experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL license required OR willingness to obtain CDL within an agreed-upon timeframe
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Experience with GPS grading, drone technology, or precision equipment is a plus
- Experience with wildlife habitat, farm, or conservation-related projects is a plus
